MUMBAI: Three years after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’, and post-pregnancy, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will hit the screens again, featuring in Mani Ratnam’s untitled film, with co-stars Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu.
The camera is expected to roll in mid-2014 on the Ratnam film. In addition to the three stars, Shruti Haasan too will be a part of the film paired opposite Mahesh Babu.
Recently, Ratnam also approached Sonakshi Sinha for the film, but she refused it, owing to her prior commitments.
Apart from this, the former Miss World has been finalized by P. Vasu for his next Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie, tentatively titled as ‘Aishwaryavum Aayiram Kaakavum.’ She will be seen portraying the role of a Kalari fighter. Vasu is known for directing Tamil hits like ‘Chandramukhi’ (2005) and ‘Chinna Thambi’ (1991). Rai has yet to confirm the project though.
Aishwarya also got some compliments on her looks, from her husband, Abhishek Bachchan.
Speaking on the talk show Koffee with Karan, when asked if was insecure being married to the ravishing beauty, he responded: “Not at all. That’s one of our greatest strengths as husband and wife. She is the most beautiful woman, nobody is lying. I believe that the she is. To me she is the most beautiful thing on earth. She is great fun; she is really my best friend. I can talk to her about everything and that’s the reason I love her so much. I haven’t married her because she is the most beautiful woman or the biggest stars on earth. That’s not the equation we share.”
