Mr. Perfectionist keeping title of film a secret.

BANGALORE: No matter what he does, Aamir Khan, the perfectionist of Bollywood, finds it hard to stay off the media’s attention. The word is, an unreleased film of Aamir is about to come out. What’s so unique about that? It is coming out on the small screen! Yes, a never before seen Aamir Khan film is set to premiere on TV this June.
Aamir Khan had already taken the small screen by storm through his patriotic initiative in 2012, ‘Satyameva Jayate’. The program focused on many social issues that the people of India were having to deal with. It was a huge hit for Aamir Khan, and instantly became a hit with the youth of the country, too.
Aamir’s new film is set to premiere on a channel owned by ZEEL. The most interesting part about the film is perhaps that Aamir, who is handling the film’s promotion himself, has absolutely barred ZEEL from disclosing the title of the film to the public. Aamir himself will decide when he wants to release the film to the public. It will air on June 8 at 8 p.m.
Akash Chawla of ZEEL has been quoted in the media, “This is truly India’s first ever initiative by any movie channel…I am sure our viewers will love this novel concept.”
The film is said to be very independent in nature. The cinematographer was an amateur with very little experience and more than 50 local actors have acted in this film.
It is a good thing that an unreleased film is enjoying the limelight. If one recalls, Mukul S. Anand’s Dus (1997) was shelved due to the director’s death. The film never saw the light of day, and fans never got to see Raveena play a villainous terrorist as she was portrayed in the film.
Aamir will also be felicitating a chat show during the film’s advertisements, where he will interact with his fans and answer queries about the film.
