NASA vows to find life outside Earth in next 2 decades.

NEW DELHI: Archaeologists in India have found stunning cave paintings showing that ancient human beings were aware of the possibility that they were not alone in the universe.
In a stunning new report, released by The Times of India, archaeologist J.R. Bhagat discusses the incredible find in the Charama region near Chhatisgarh, specifically located in the Kanker region near Bastar. These cave painting depict what can only be described as large, extra-terrestrial humanoid beings descending from the sky in round objects, and interacting with smaller individuals – presumably, humans.
The paintings are a stunning real-life depiction of a concept that has fascinated not only archaeologists and astrologists, but even Hollywood. The 2012 film Prometheus depicts exactly such a scenario – ancient cave paintings from all around the world, separated by eras that are thousands of years apart, showing humans interacting with aliens – and controversially theorizes that what we call Gods today are nothing more than aliens.
Regardless of if that’s true, the cave paintings in northern India have provoked enough reaction for NASA and the ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) to potentially get involved; both organizations have been contacted to help look into the paintings, which have already been dated at roughly 10,000 years old.
“The findings suggest that humans in prehistoric times may have seen or imagined beings from other planets,” Bhagat said to the Times.
Bhagat goes on to elaborate on the fact that these mysterious visitors are depicted as wearing space suits and even have antennae coming out of them, something that humans would never have known about so long ago.
But Bhagat is also quick to point out further research is needed, and that the paintings have very little fading for something that is supposedly 10,000 years old. While he doesn’t seem to indicate that the paintings could be fake, such a possibility cannot be discounted without further research, and “Chhatisgarh presently doesn’t have any such expert who could give clarity on the subject,” according to Bhagat.
It’s practically impossible to ever know if extra-terrestrial life has ever visited the Earth in the past, but scientists at NASA are certain that contact will be made in the future. In fact, the vaunted space organization – which was the first to ever put a man on the moon – has said that humans will interact with aliens within the next 20 years.
During a press conference at NASA’s headquarters in Washington, DC on Monday, several of the agency’s higher-ups announced the upcoming launch of the Transiting Exoplanet Surveying Satellite in 2017, saying that the spacecraft will help determine where alien life could feasibly exist.
“I would venture to say that most of my colleagues here today say it is improbable that in the limitless vastness of the universe we humans stand alone,” said Charles Bolden, the current Administrator of NASA and a former astronaut in his own right, before cautioning that such life would likely not be found within our own solar system.
Signs of water have already been found on Mars, and at least one moon within Earth’s solar system, but life itself has remained scarce. If it turns out that there has been interaction with extra-terrestrial beings at some point in human existence, it would surely be the biggest scientific discovery in history.
