NEW DELHI: The ‘suro ke sartaaj’ trio Benny Dayal, Shaan and Sreeram Chandra have hopped into promoting regional music, Malayalam, Bengali and Telugu, respectively.
The trio’s new call is a part of the third Kingfisher Strong Backstage – a social platform for aspiring singers to display their fresh talent across a series of webisodes. People can click to the link to listen to different songs by new talent and can vote for them.
The trio will be singing a series of their original compositions in the three languages that will be featured on this platform. The singers will be provided with a launch pad into the music industry via this platform, which started August 6 and will be go through October.
Music enthusiasts from West Bengal, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana can relish the soulful renditions infused with each state’s trademark style with their clicks, likes and shares on Kingfisherworld.com, Kingfisher’s Facebook page, YouTube channel and exclusively on Fridaymoviez.com.

Shaan started off his singing career at the age of 17 with his sister Sagarika. He has sung different genres of songs in many languages. He has given hits like Tanhaa Dil, Bum Bum Bole, Behti Hawa Sa Tha Wo, among others.
Dayal and Chandra are relatively new to the industry. Dayal started singing in Malayalam then switched over to Hindi music industry in 2006, giving hits like Daru Desi, Jab Mai Tumhare Sath Hu, Ek Mai Aur Ek Tu, whereas Chandra is a 2010 winner of Indian Idol.
