MUMBAI: This year Bigg Boss has introduced the concept of middlemen and hence, formed a secret society, which has been given the responsibility to play Bigg Boss to the rest of the housemates. This society was assigned a special task ‘Qurbaaniyaan’ under which they had to ask some of the housemates for a ‘qurbaani’ (sacrifice) in lieu of their bags and belongings.
With interesting names like Bollywood actor Upen Patel, Aarya Babbar, Minissha Lamba, Karishma Tanna and Gautam Gulati of Diya Aur Baati Hum fame, the most coveted flight boasted of the celebrities who will now spend their days in front of the cameras 24*7.
When asked what they would want to carry with them to the house, the celebs had some interesting responses:
Karishma Tanna said, “I would take along my mobile. It’s very difficult for me to stay without a phone.”
Sushant Divgikar said he would want to get some alcohol on board: “Alcohol. Because no one is gonna say that they drink or smoke. But I am not afraid. I smoke and I drink, so I would definitely carry alcohol if I am allowed to.”
Sushant Divgikar, the winner of Mr. Gay India 2014, hopes that his presence on the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 8’ can change perceptions of people about the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community.
“I think I can sensitise the people about my community by being the face of LGBT community in ‘Bigg Boss’,” Sushant told IANS from Mumbai before entering the show.
Calling books as a giver of wisdom, actress Sukirti Kandpal said she would want to have a bunch of books with her. “I would take my books. I love to read. It’s a very nice time spending activity. And plus it gives you wisdom, which you require inside that house.”
Minissha Lamba said she would slip in a laptop with “superfast internet connection.”
