Charity brunch included an art auction.

MUMBAI: Bollywood ace choreographer Sandip Soparrkar performed at the 5thannual Charity Brunch to raise funds for the NGO Catalyst for Social Action (CSA), here, on Sunday.
Soparrkar is the ambassador for CSA, which works for the betterment of orphaned children. It has been working with over 55 child care institutions in four states – Maharashtra, Goa, Orissa and Madhya Pradesh and has directly associated with hundreds of legal adoption cases since its inception in 2002.
Soparrkar is married to Indian actress and model Jesse Randhawa. The duo had guest-starred in Dance India Dance Grand Finale.
At the brunch, which also included an art auction to raise funds, Soparrkar regaled the audience with his moves, and also jived with the organization’s management and staff members.
The charity event also saw a few fun dance numbers by art collectors, investors and CSA supporters, all choreographed by Soparrkar.
“Dance is not just a medium for entertainment, it is a popular way of making a long lasting impression in People’s mind. I always like to use my talent to create awareness and awakens the society through dance,” said Soparrkar.
Art pieces auctioned on Sunday were created by celebrity artists, including Arzan Khambata, Brinda Miller, Bina Aziz, and Jaya Lamba.
“We are overwhelmed by the response and the funds received through this event, the funds raised will be channelized in the development and welfare of orphaned children,” said Vipul Jain, President and co-founder, CSA.
