NEW YORK: Actress Lindsay Lohan and her brother Michael Lohan are suing their former business partner Fima Potik for $60 million in a business dispute over a failed shopping app.
The “Mean Girls” star and her sibling will ask a Manhattan judge to fine and potentially jail Potik, 30, for falsely claiming they stole his idea for the online-shopping app, The New York Post reported.
The Lohans’ lawyer, Ravi Batra, said Potik never even had an app design to steal.
“He’s a celebrity leech who has abused the court system,” Batra said.
Justice Saliann Scarpula gave Potik 30 days to find new counsel, after his lawyers dumped him over unpaid legal bills.
Batra plans to bring contempt and sanctions motions against Potik, saying the bizman’s suit delayed the launch of the Lohans’ fashion company, Vigme.
Potik, who declined to comment, had been ordered to hand over documents showing what trade secrets the Lohans supposedly stole, but after repeated requests for more time, he has still not provided the evidence.

Potik is a well known con artist. Better be jailed.
