The Turing Phone, unveiled in July this year as the “unhackable, unbreakable, and waterproof” is ready for a release. It will be shipped from December 18.
According to Engadget, this date is coinciding with the release of the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and the matching of the date is not a coincidence.
Developed by Turing Robotic Industries, a San Francisco-based company, the Turing phone is made of a material called liquidmorphium, which is stronger than steel or aluminium. The nano-coating on the internals will make it an extremely waterproofed phone.
The Turing Phone will be released as 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB variants, with the respective price tag of $610, $740, and $870. The device will be launched in three colors – Beowolf, Pharaoh, and Cardinal.
The rectangular, encrypted phone comes with a screen size of 5.5-inch will come without USB port and headphone jack.
