Two young techies committed suicide in Bangalore on Thursday in separate incidents.
Krishna Balasubramanium, a 31-year-old software engineer, allegedly jumped off the fourth floor of a mall in Whitefield and plunged to death.
Balasubramanium, a manager at Societe Generale Global Solutions, ITPL, had a marital dispute and primary investigation hints that the dispute led to his suicide.
It is learned that he had bitter fights with his wife recently. He had sent several SMS to his relatives and father-in-law in the last days and had talked to them on phone just before the incident, according to reports.
A native of Andhra Pradesh, Balasubramanium and family moved to Bangalore a few years ago. He lived in Hosakote in a rented house with wife and children.
“He was seen walking around by himself in an agitated frame of mind,” said Dr Rohini Katoch Sepat Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East). “Around 11.15 pm, he jumped off the fourth floor and fell to his death. A security guard who heard the sound nearby rushed him to a hospital, but he succumbed en route. There was no suicide note found on his person or at the scene, but we are making enquiries into the fact that he and his wife were having trouble in their marriage.”
In another incident, a 33-year-old man committed suicide in his house in Jnanabharati, after his wife allegedly eloped with her boyfriend.
The victim has been identified as Mukund, who was a senior executive at a mobile service providing company at Electronics City.
Police have found a suicide note stating that he was doing this after becoming dejected with life and no one is responsible for his suicide.
