It seems like back-to-back hits are bringing good fortune to Salman Khan. If media reports are to be believed, Khan has signed a whopping Rupees 1,000 crore deal with a TV channel for the satellite rights of his upcoming movies.
The Indian Express reported that a channel has offered Salman Khan Rupees 1000 crore to air his upcoming movies.
“Varun Dhawan recently inked a deal with a channel where he gets paid Rs 300 crore for 10 films of his. But with Salman’s past few releases all being blockbusters, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, for example – channels are willing to pay him to triple the amount to air his films and have his presence grace their shows, be it reality shows or sports-based programs. He recently re-negotiated his earlier contract with the same channel,” the source was quoted as saying by the daily.
The channel will air next 10 films of the star and the deal also includes his appearances on the channel. Khan had struck a deal for Rs. 500 crore deal with Star India Network in 2013 for four years. The deal is valid until December 2017.
Recently, there were reports that Hrithik Roshan has been offered Rupees 550 crore for his upcoming six films.
