Roshan makes an appearance at trailer launch.

Krrish 3, the latest film in the smash-hit Hrithik Roshan series, is all set to hit theaters worldwide this Diwali. The third in the series, which began with 2003’s Koi… Mil Gaya and continued with 2006’s Krrish, stars returning cast members Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra. New to the series are actors Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi.
Roshan has been in the news recently because of his hospitalization for a blood clot he suffered last month on the set of his latest film, the Katrina Kaif-starrer Bang Bang.
But Roshan, in his first public appearance since being suddenly hospitalized, was all smiles at the launch of the Krrish 3 trailer. “I am absolutely fantastic,” he said. “My spirit is intact.” Joining Roshan at the event were Roshan’s father and Krrish 3 director Rakesh Roshan, actor Anil Kapoor, and co-stars Ranaut and Oberoi, who play a mutant named Kaya and a villain named Kaal, respectively.
Koi… Mil Gaya, which paired Roshan with Preity Zinta and told the story of a mentally challenged young man befriending an alien named Jaadu, became a huge hit in 2003, grossing almost 80 crores and winning five Filmfare Awards, including Best Film, Director, and Actor (Roshan). The sequel, Krrish, which followed the exploits of the son of the characters in the first film, played again by Roshan, became an even bigger hit at the box office, grossing 117 crores and won three Filmfare Awards, though in relatively minor categories (special effects, action, and background score).
Krrish 3 is all set to blast into theaters on November 4th, in both 2D and 3D, and is expected to break all sorts of box office records. Given Roshan’s huge fan following and the success of the previous two installments, that seems more than plausible.
