MUMBAI: John Abraham had set the streets on fire by racing on a Hayabusa in Dhoom, in 2004. Next was 2006, when the actor with the chiseled Greek looks, Hrithik Roshan, raced furiously and stole hearts in Dhoom 2. Now, this year, welcome Dhoom’s next edition, Dhoom 3, as it continues with a bang. The promos have ensured that the pulsating action will continue till its release this December 20th.
The racy flick flagged off spectacularly with its digital motion poster which garnered four million views, with its trailer being one step forward with 1.2 crore views and another 5.5 million views for Katrina Kaif dancing to the tune of Dhoom Machale, all in a new version.
After all the first looks and trailers, which has set expectations high, another song from the film is set to make an entry into Bollywood’s record club even before it’s released.
The latest song from Dhoom 3, Malang, has been shot at an eye-popping budget of Rs. 5 crore. With such a stupendous bill, Malang is set to be crowned as Bollywood’s most expensive song ever made in its history.
The song features Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan and London Lady Katrina Kaif in a gymnastic avatar with high energy music pumping in the background. To add to the glamorous spectacle, the leading pair is accompanied by over 200 professional gymnasts shaking to the beats.
The massive budget is inclusive of the fees of these 200 artists, who were specially flown all the way from the United States, their costumes and lavish sets.
Certainly, Dhoom 3 is on track to fulfill its tagline: the year will end with a DHOOM.
