Enter Sanjay Dutt – in Rajasthani costume.

MUMBAI: The 3rd poster of Rajkumar Hirani’s mind boggling movie PK is out. While it’s seemingly unrelated to the previous ones, it’s also as intriguing.
The new poster also offers us a look at another PK cast member, Sanjay Dutt. Both are fully clad, which may disappoint some female fans. Aamir introduces his “phi-rend” Bhairo Singh, played by actor Sanjay.
Sanjay is clad in a ‘bandwala’ sort of Rajasthani costume, quite similar to Aamir himself, carrying a big euphonium.
“Phir tukur-tukur dekhat ho? Ee hum nahi hoon, ee humra phi-rend hai, Bhairo Singh. Inki bhet karo, hum aa raha hoon.” Tweeted Aamir.
Which means in Bhojpuri, “Why are you staring? Are you confused? This is not me, this is my friend, Bhairon Singh.”
Aamir himself holds a stern expression as he poses wearing outfit number 3, an oversized police officer costume. So oversized is his costume, his pants which seem three sizes too big for him look like they’ve been held up only because of a belt.
Anushka Sharma, who also co-stars in PK, has so far not made an appearance in the three posters released. The first poster, starring an almost-nude Aamir, is of course indelibly imprinted on the nation’s consciousness. She may appear very soon, however, since there are seven more posters still left to be released.
“Normally, films promos are launched first but we have decided to launch a series of posters with ‘PK’. Every two to three weeks, there will be a new poster which will be introduced. We will have a poster campaign…We will release eight to ten posters till the time the film is released,” Aamir had told reporters at the launch of the second poster.
A new strategy adopted by the makers, these teaser posters are aimed at confusing the audience, and keeping their curiosity at a high. Each poster is expected to unfold a different story.
