Is it worth it though?

WASHINGTON, DC: There’s been plenty of debate on how much the new iPhone 6 really costs, with all the overhead and contract obligations rolled in. What nobody could never imagine, or even conjure up, was that the smartphone could actually be worth a 2,400 square feet house in Detroit, Michigan.
A real estate listing says a homeowner is offering to swap a two-story brick colonial on Detroit’s east side for a new iPhone 6 or a 32gb iPad, reported CBS.
Yahoo! reported that the house has three bedrooms, 1.5 baths and is currently listed at $3,000.
The 2,400 sq. ft. house at 11954 Laing, is located in a neighborhood near Kelly Road and Morang Avenue. The home is described as an “investor special,” with three bedrooms, one-and-a-half baths, a finished basement and two-car garage. A ceiling fan is among the home’s other listed features.
CBS pointed out that some of the cons too: a photo included in the listing shows another side of the house, one perhaps inviting to thieves, with a missing door, broken shutters and shattered windows.
The report says the homeowner was originally seeking $5,000 for the house — but after several months on the market without any takers, the asking price was reduced by $1,000 in July and again in August. County records show that the homeowner owes more than $6,000 in property taxes, according to the Motor City Muckraker.
“It’s a real listing,” Larry J. Else, the realtor on the home was quoted as saying by Detroit’s FOX 2 News. “It sounds like he wants the premium version [of the iPhone], but I’m sure that he’s willing to negotiate.”
Folks, real estate is getting better in the country. So, any takers?
