BENGALURU: The Indian smartphone manufacturer Spice has launched a new smartphone called Stellar MI 520N for a budget price of Rs. 6,999 ($113) via the online retail site Amazon.in.
Stellar MI 520n is a 5 inch smartphone with 1280 x 720 pixels HD IPS display with One Glass Solution – a touchscreen technology which reduces the thickness of the display. The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor coupled with 1 GB RAM. It also has an Adreno 305 GPU @ 400 Mhz that allows to play all heavy duty games on this phone.
The new dual SIM smartphone was exclusively launched on Amazon India today. The CEO of Spice Mobility, Prashant Bindal said, “We are delighted to launch the Stellar 520n exclusively on Amazon, thereby offering our customers a superior product and retail experience at the same time. We are convinced that with Amazon’s excellent reach and our great product, this exclusive tie-up will enchant our customers.”
Stellar MI 520n runs on the Android KitKat OS out-of-the-box and has an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and flash enabled. The device also boasts of a 2 MP front camera for selfies. The smartphone also has an 8 GB internal memory, expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card slot.
The new smartphone from Spice also has essential connectivity features such as 3G and WiFi. Stellar MI 520n is backed up by a 2000 mAh battery which is enough for a smartphone of its class to run for a whole day without troubling the users.
One of the highlights of the device is the changeable back cover that comes bundled along with Stellar MI 520n. The back cover is available in three different colors: Red, Yellow and White. Amazon also has bundled a flip cover as a freebie along with the device.
