So, I understand how the creators found the DC, Maryland, Virginia thing. I am really excited to see how these artists continue to progress after this show,” he added.
Joe Kim, one of the three guest judges, said, “I am looking for a performer who is genuine, looking outside the comfort zone, inspires people and that leaves an impact.”
Founded in 2000 in Los Angeles, Kollaboration has offices in various states across the United States. The organization has been providing platform for the up-and-coming artists.
Christine Minji Chang, Global Executive Director, said, “Kollaboration, as a whole has been here for the last sixteen years. We have been based out of Los Angeles. Since then we have just kind of stayed a really important part of the community in terms of being a continuous platform for up and coming artists. Our shows are basically an opportunity for people who have passion and who have talent to try it out. To see, you know, maybe I have something here that I want to pursue further; to see how the audience responds to it. Its really great opportunity for that.”
