Telugu films trying to outdo each other on expensive sets for songs.

When it comes to Telugu movies, producers are never reluctant to pump in huge money for song sequences; remember the “Pachai Thee” song from Baahubali.
Now, if rumors are to be believed, a song sequence in Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming movie “Brahmotsavam” was shot spending a whopping Rs 3.5 crores.
“It’s the introductory song featuring Mahesh and nearly 500 junior artists. Besides Mahesh, the song also features the ensemble cast of Pranitha Subhash, Jayasudha, Sayaji Shinde, Tanikella Bharani, Naresh and Krishna Bhagwan among others,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.
Sources close to the movie confirmed that the producer spent Rs 3.5 crore on sets and other arrangements of the song sequence.
Mahesh will be seen shaking legs with the young actress Chandni Chowdary, who has not appeared in any big movies till now other than a few short films. Brahmotsavam is directed by Srikanth Addala and it also has South Indian sensations Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Kajal Aggarwal appearing in important roles.
“Brahmotsavam” is the maiden Telugu-Tamil bilingual movie of the prince of Telugu movie industry and interestingly, the actor himself is said to be dubbing the Tamil version of the movie which is currently waiting for the commencement of the next schedule on Oct. 5 in Hyderabad.
