The South Asia Policy & Research Initiative (SAPRI), in collaboration with the Georgetown India Initiative and the South Asian Society, will host its inaugural South Asia Policy Conference April 7, 2016.
The conference will bring together leading researchers, policy experts, practitioners and policymakers to engage with students and discuss both the key challenges facing economies in South Asia as well as the best options to address them, according to the organizers.
Speakers and attendees will include policy experts from the World Bank, the IMF, IFPRI, the Center for Global Development, Georgetown University, the private sector as well as Ambassadors from South Asia.
“This is a great opportunity for students to network with policymakers, engage in meaningful conversations and discover how they can get involved in some of the most exciting development work in South Asia,” a press note from SAPRI said.
The venue will be Copley Formal Lounge at Georgetown University.
