The Ramayana is one of the favorite subjects of Indian film and TV serial makers. Right from the beginning, Indian film and television industry has tried to find some novel ideas from the epic. The entire Ramayana has been made into films in almost all Indian languages.
But, whether it’s a movie or a TV serial, it requires an immense amount of money and effort in order to create an ambiance that reflects the time period, the palaces, chariots, and attire as described in Ramayana.
Now, a Bengaluru-based tech-savvy person has come up with a Snapchat version of the Ramayana; that too in a hilarious way.
Hari Chakyar, a writer for a digital marketing agency in Bengaluru recently posted a Snapchat version of the “Bala Kand,” the first part of the legend of Lord Rama. The hilarious 3.33-minute video presentation has been made using a series of comic pictures, videos, and rough drawings.
Hailing from Kerala, Hari Chakyar’s “Bala Kand” will definitely make everyone laugh. He has completed the scripting of the second part and will hit the social media soon.
Chakyar Koothu, a temple art form in Kerala performed by Chakyar community, inspired Hari to write the script of The Ramayana in the comic capsule way.
