The 25-year-old woman was in an affair with her nephew.
Hyderabad police arrested a 25-year-old woman and her 16-year-old nephew for allegedly killing her husband on Saturday. According to a report, the woman and her nephew rode about 12 kilometers with the body of her husband before the police caught them.
According to the police, the murdered 36-year-old Pullaiah Mendem had just moved to Hyderabad along with his wife Pravallika a few week back from their village in Kodada, Nalgonda, reported NDTV.
Mendem decided to move to leave their village after realizing that Pravallika had developed a relationship with her 16-year-old nephew who was a 10th standard student. Mendem had warned her several times against the affair.
On Saturday, Pravallika killed Mendem by banging his against a wall and kicking him in the groin with the help of her nephew. They ferried his body on a bike they borrowed from their neighbor.
Two police constables spotted them while they were riding on the bike with his body. They got suspicious when they saw the man’s head lying on the shoulder of the boy and his feet dragging on the road. The police chased them for about two kilometers as they did not stop when the police asked them to.
The woman and the boy initially told the police that they found his body on the roadside after he left the house for drinking. But, after a detailed interrogation, they confessed to the crime.
