Several prominent Telugu Americans, notable guests from India attend the event.
Telugu Association of Greater Boston (TAGB) celebrated its 30th anniversary on October 8, 2016, in Andover, Massachusetts. The event was organized under the leadership of Dr. Haribabu Muddana, the organization’s Chairman Board of Trustees, and President Chandra Talluri.
According to a press release issued by the group, the event was attended by several prominent Telugu Americans, including Mohan Nannapaneni, Ravi Ika, Subbu Kota and TV9 founder Ravi Prakash.
One of the highlights of the event, which was attended by more than 1,200 people, was Kuchipudi performance by dancer Sri Krishna Parijatham.
Many celebrities from India also graced the occasion, including prominent lyricist Chandra Bose, actor Sivaji, TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash, Siva Reddy and mimicry Ramesh, are some among them.
TAGB executive committee felicitated the musical greatness of Sri Annavarapu Ramaswamy, a prominent violinist, and the organization’s first president Sairani Ravi at the event.
Actor Sivaji and TV9’s Prakash were also felicitated.
In addition to the celebrations, in an effort to bring awareness about environmental pollution, TAGB green team demonstrated recycling plastic and food waste, according to the press release.
