The incidents happened in a span of three decades.
Three women have come forward accusing Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump of sexual harassment. All three incidents allegedly happened during separate encounters over a span of three decades, reported newspapers on Wednesday.
Two out of three women told The New York Times that the reality TV Star turned presidential candidate touched them inappropriately. While one woman alleged that Trump groped her the other said he kissed her without permission.
The third women reportedly made the confession to The Palm Beach Post newspaper, Florida saying that Trump groped her at his Mar-a-Lago estate 13 years ago.
Trump has ridiculed the first two sexual harassment allegations in an interview with the Times and his campaign manager Jason Miller has issued an official statement stating that the allegations made by the women against Trump is baseless and “the entire article is fiction.â€
He also targeted the newspaper for launching an attack that is completely false and an attempt of coordinated character assassination. Trump’s spokeswoman Hope Hicks told the Palm Beach Post “there is no truth†to the third allegation.
Jessica Leeds, 74, a resident of New York told the Times that her encounter with Trump happened in the first-class cabin of a flight to New York more than three decades ago. According to her, he (Trump) lifted the armrest separating them and began to touch her. She said she fled to the back of the plane and sat in the coach section.
A second woman, Rachel Crooks of Ohio, told the newspaper that she met Trump as a 22-year-old receptionist for a real estate company located at Trump Tower and came face to face with Trump outside an elevator there in 2005. She said that after she introduced herself to Trump and they shook hands, he would not let go, then kissed her cheeks and “kissed me directly on the mouth.â€
“It was so inappropriate,†she told the newspaper, “I was so upset that he thought I was so insignificant that he could do that.â€
Mind McGillivray, 36, told the Palm Beach Post that Trump groped her in 2003 when she was there accompanying a photographer friend who was photographing a Ray Charles concert.
“All of a sudden I felt a grab, a little nudge. I think it’s Ken’s camera bag, that was my first instinct. I turn around and there’s Donald. He sort of looked away quickly. I quickly turned back, facing Ray Charles, and I’m stunned,†she said.
The newspapers also spoke to the people close to the women in each instance, who verified that they told them their stories about what they say happened years ago.
Both Leeds and Crooks told Times that they support Hillary Clinton’s campaign for president.
In a 2003 video reported by Washington Post on Friday, Trump can be heard making vulgar comments on a hot microphone about physically forcing himself on women sexually.
“No, I have not,†Trump denied the video at Sunday’s debate when the moderator asked him whether he had ever behaved in such a way.
