Nazia Amin makes Shreya Ghoshal proud.
Nazia Amin, the Pakistani girl who won the hearts of millions of Malayalees after singing the hit song ‘Malare’ from blockbuster movie ‘Premam,’ has once again come up with another Malayalam song, but with a difference. This time, she has sung a song for all Indians.
Amin has shared a video of her singing the popular song ‘Kaathirunnu Kaathirunnu’ from another hit Malayalam movie ‘Ennu Ninte Moideen.’
Amin begins the video thanking her viewers who welcomed her earlier song which was a tribute to her Malayalee friends in Dubai.
“This time, this video is not only for my friends in Dubai. But, each and every one of you in Kerala, each and every one of you in India,” she says.
Though she apologized in advance for any probable mistakes and pronunciation errors, the talented Pakistani girl sings the song very well in her sweet voice without any serious flaws. Interestingly, she has made tremendous improvement in rendering Malayalam words except for some letters which are unique in the language.
According to Amin, a business development executive based in Dubai, singing song is her own way of spreading love.
“This is a very little way of spreading love for me. So, I request you all to keep on doing the same in your own ways,” said Amin.
The song, composed by M. Jayachandran was originally sung by well-known singer Shreya Ghoshal, who is also not a Malayalee, but became a favorite singer of Keralites with her magical voice and perfect pronunciation.
Based on the true-life story of a woman who lived as the unmarried widow of her lover who died in a boat accident at a young age, ‘Ennu Ninte Moideen’ was the highest grossing Malayalam film till 2015.
