Russian criminal law will be enacted if he is found guilty.
A Russian TV Channel is planning first of its kind of reality show where the contestants will have to survive in the most remote area in Siberia where the temperature can go beyond 40c or lower.
The proposed reality show will feature 30 participants, 15 women, and 15 men respectively. The winner will be awarded $$1.3 billion. Each contestant will be provided with basic tools such as knife and are expected to fish or hunt with it to survive in the most precarious conditions.
The shocking rules say: “Everything is allowed. Fighting, alcohol, murder, rape, smoking, anything.”
According to reports, the Russian millionaire Yevgeny Pyatkovsky, 35, is the brains behind the extreme contest – but says the show won’t take responsibility for what happens to the contestants.
Pyatkovsky was quoted saying: “We will refuse any claim of participants even if they were to be killed or raped.”
“We will have nothing to do with this. This will be spelled out in a document to be signed by the participant before the start of the show.”
According to sources if a contestant dies in the middle of the show, the Russian criminal law will be enacted if he is found guilty.
The show, despite just having announced, has already garnered the attention of critics who have slammed such a reality show where humans could become savages as they are forced to live like the dinosaur.
A critic was quoted by The Sun saying that the reality show could end encouraging rape and murder.
The one of its kind reality show has been named “Game2: Winter”, and the participants of the show must be above 18 years of age.
The channel has confirmed that the survival contest will be screened online 24×7 with the help of 2,000 fixed cameras.
