The huge discount offered to iPhone SE in India is seen as the movie of Apple distributors to sell the maximum units of the not-so-popular-handset by the close of the financial year.
The iPhone Se 16 GB variant is currently sold for a price of Rs. 24,000 and now with the additional cash back of Rs. 5000, customers can buy it for a price as less as Rs. 19,999 ($305).
The cashback offer on iPhone SE, that started on Friday will be available all through this month until the 31st of March and almost all bank credit and debit cards can be used to avail the exciting offer.
Buyers with credit cards issued by following banks are eligible for cash back offer of Rs. 5000 ($76): Axis Bank, Citibank, HDFC Bank, HSBC, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Kotak, RBL Bank, SBI, Standard Chartered, UBI, and Yes Bank.
It should be noted that the dealers are not offering an instant cash back and it will take up to 90 days before the amount gets credited to the account of the buyer. Adding to this, the cashback is not applicable to customers with AmericanExpress cards and also those who seek EMI-based payment.
If the dealers are looking at maximum sale by the end of this financial year, we might even see a bigger cut in the price of SE or, even on other models of iPhone.
