Hate incident: The blonde yells at an immigrant shopper to leave America; calls another shopper “n_gger.”
A Walmart shopper filmed a hate tirade by a blonde at the retail giants Centerton, Arkansas, -store. Eva Hicks, the victim, recorded the video and posted it on Facebook, on Monday. Millions of Facebook users watched the video, leaving a trail of comments criticizing the racist incident.
“You and your mouth go back to Mexico,” a white woman said to Hicks. “Go back . . . wherever you are from.”
“Excuse me! I am trying to buy something,” responded Hicks, astoundingly.
Meanwhile, another shopper tried to intervene and prompt the blonde to stop abusing Hicks. However, the blonde waived in the air and told her, “That’s none of your business. Stay out of this.”
“I don’t need to stay out of this . . . stop being ignorant,” said the shopper who was trying to pacify the blonde. This, however, aggravated the blonde. “A n_gger’s calling me ignorant?” she blurted.
“You are very rude,” Hicks responded, in utter shock. “This is my country.”
“This is not your country. . .we don’t want you here,” the blonde continued.
The visibly charged blonde continued even until a Walmart employee requested her to refrain from her improper demeanor. “It’s not my fault. She started it,” the blonde said while repeatedly pointing finger at Hicks; and arguing that Hicks should leave the store.
The Walmart employee, Wes, who was praised for his prompt and professional handling of the situation, had to ask the blonde to leave the store. But, the latter rolls her shopping cart toward the employee, asking, “What’s your name?” And continued to confront the employee for asking her to leave. Eventually, the blonde left; but after much confrontation.
Walmart condemned the racist incident at the Arkansas Store. “We value and respect everyone who visits our stores. We have no tolerance for the language or actions of this customer and are proud that out assistant manager [Wes] responded appropriately by asking her to leave the store,” said Randy Hargrove, the senior director of Walmart Media Relations, NBC News reported.
