Future of H-1B visa program, US-India technology ties among major themes.
The American Bazaar has announced that it will host its fourth annual Technology Forum in Hyderabad on June 03, 2017. A number of speakers from the United States and India, among them, CEOs and executives of technology companies, will attend the event, which will be held at Lemon Tree Premier in Hitec City, Hyderabad.
The future of US-India technology ties and the future of the H-1B visa program will be one of the major themes of the forum, said Asif Ismail, Publisher of The American Bazaar. “As in previous years, the forum will discuss the trends and technologies, future growth areas and job prospects in the US tech market,” he said. “This year’s forum will also discuss policies that affect the US and Indian tech markets — especially the immigration policy of the Trump administration.”
The conference will discuss the future of the H-1B visa program and the impact a potential crackdown on the program will have on the Indian and US Information Technology industries. Stakeholders from the US and Indian information technology sector will share their views on this and issues.
More than a dozen technology companies, trade groups and organizations working in the area will be part of the conference, among them, including the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA), IndoAmerican Center and the Telangana IT Association.
“It is obvious that proper information about the current US government policies on H-1B and other immigration options is need of the hour,” said Sundeep Kumar Makthala, president of the Telangana IT Association. “Since we know that the immigration policy was the election agenda of Donald Trump and he largely implemented his poll promise by terminating immigration to a large extent, it is relevant for aspirants to know about the details of the policy now.”
