Actress Priyanka Chopra felt overwhelmed as her Marathi Film Ventilator was honored at the 2017 Marathi Filmfare Awards.
Ventilator is Priyanka Chopra’s debut Marathi film as a producer and it has grabbed all the limelight at the award ceremony. The 2017 Marathi Filmfare Awards were announced a few days back and Ventilator has won five awards at the star-studded award ceremony.
When she was asked about the achievement, as a producer of the movie, Chopra said, “Really really proud of Team Ventilator for bringing home 5 Filmfare awards. Stories are at the heart of everything we do at Purple Pebble Pictures.”
Chopra also congratulated the artists who have achieved the black statuette. She said, “Congratulations to Rajesh Mapuskar who received the award for Best Original Stoy and Best Screenplay in addition to his win for Best Debut Director. Congratulations to Rameshwar Bhagat for Best Editing and to Sanjay Maurya and Allywn Rego, for Best Sound Designing. Well deserved recognition for these amazing talents. So happy and proud of my entire team.”
The film Ventilator is a fun family entertainer featuring a splendid combination of veteran actors from the Marathi film industry and theater along with brilliant performances by Ashutosh Gowariker and Boman Irani.
The movie depicts about family values, customs, traditions and relations and it was highly appreciated by the film critics.
