The Congressional Roundtable on Wednesday will take place from 6 p.m. till 7 p.m. at Capitol Visitors Center.
Desis for Progress (DFP) has announced that it will hold the second annual Congressional Roundtable on April 25, which will be graced by Indian American lawmakers Ami Bera, Pramila Jayapal and Raja Krishnamoorthi.
The event, which is open to the public, will give an opportunity to the attendees to submit questions for the representatives.
DFP is an organization made up of South Asians who self-identify as progressive and want to create a stronger community. It aims at creating a network that can quickly mobilize, support progressive policies and values and progressive South Asian American leaders.
The Congressional Roundtable on Wednesday will take place from 6 p.m. till 7 p.m. at Capitol Visitors Center. HVC-215 will be closed for press.
During the last Congressional Roundtable held on March 21, 2017, over 100 DFP supporters came together to learn from the experiences and advice of Representatives Ami Bera, Pramila Jayapal, and Raja Krishnamoorthi.
