Jurassic world: Fallen Kingdom, one of the most anticipated films of the year, will be released in India on June 8, two weeks ahead of its official release in the United States on June 22.
So the Indian audience will get a chance to witness the roaring dinosaurs on the big screen earlier than the whole world.
Universal Pictures India, which announced the release date, said the film will release in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in more than 2,300 screens across the country.
The science fiction adventure film is directed by J.A. Bayona and it is a sequel to the worldwide blockbuster Jurassic World, which was released in 2015. It is the fifth installment in the Jurassic Park series. The film, set on the fictional island of Isla Nublar, is written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.
The movie’s cast includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall and Isabella Sermon.
Pratt and Howard will do the same role they did in the Jurassic World — Owen and Claire.
Meanwhile, Avengers Infinity War is going strong in the Indian box office. It has already crossed the Rs 2 billion (roughly $30 million) mark in the country.
