Hulu releases the trailer of “Four Weddings and a Wedding,” which also features British Indian actor Nikesh Patel.
If you are a die-hard romantic and have a soft spot for summer romance, then you need to switch on to Hulu.
Four Weddings and a Funeral, a 10-part series re-imagining a hit Hollywood movie of the same name and featuring Indian American actor and producer Mindy Kaling, will start streaming on July 31.
The trailer for the much-awaited series was released by Hulu on Monday and the series, just as the movie after which it is named, looked so utterly romantic. It looks heavy on flirtatious exchanges and follows the life of a political campaign employee from New York (Nathalie Emmanuel), who lands up in London to attend the wedding of a friend. Here she is re-united with three of her best friends and what follows is a tale of surprises, drama and a whole lot of romance.

Kaling, the co- executive producer for the series, wrote the series along with Matt Warburton.
It also features British Indian actor Nikesh Patel as Kash, who looks both promising and hot-bodied in the trailer.
While debuting the trailer for the series, Hulu described the upcoming romantic drama as “Relationships are forged and broken, political scandals exposed, London social life lampooned, love affairs ignited and doused, and of course there are four weddings … and a funeral.”
By presenting a South Asian lead actor, Kaling is bravely venturing into creating space for representation. Earlier in an interview to the Entertainment Weekly, Kaling had said: “I know so many beautiful, funny, interesting African-American girls and so many handsome, hilarious British Pakistani and British Indian guys and I don’t think anyone would put them together if I’m not going to do it.”
