MUMBAI: After shaking a leg in Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas’ debut film Alludu Seenu, Tamannaah is all set to play his romantic interest in his forthcoming film under Boyapati Srinu’s direction.
The actress, elated with the role she has been offered, signed the film a few days back. Incidentally, Suresh is producing the film and he thanked Boyapati Srinu for coming forward to direct the film.
“The film will be like a good action and romantic entertainer like Bhadra. I’ll forever be grateful to V V Vinayak for giving a spectacular launch to my son,” he said.
Previously, Shruti Haasan too was considered for this venture but in the last minute, Tamannaah kicked Shruti away from consideration. There is a buzz in the media that Tamannaah is going to get one crores rupees plus remuneration for this film. Suresh may even gift her a villa just like the one he gave to Samantha.
Boyapati Srinu is directing this flick and hence we can expect few powerful sequences. Boyapati when asked about the movie said, “I will approach a hero only if I think he is apt for my story. I had a very good story, for which I thought Sai will best suit as the hero. When I met Bellamkonda Suresh with this story, he asked if I want to do the film in his banner or other banner. I said then that the film requires a big budget and only he should produce it. M. Ratnam provided the story and dialogues for this film. This story will be in the lines of ‘Bhadra’. It is a blend of all elements. Tamannaah is confirmed as the lead actress and another heroine will act in a guest role. The script work of the film is completed and we will start regular shooting in the second half of October or November first week.”
Boyapati who made his directorial debut with Bhadra revealed that one more popular actress will be seen in a special role. Devi Sri Prasad will score music and shooting is expected to begin from October last week or November first week. The filmmakers are aiming for a summer 2015 release.
