Fantastic Black Friday deal.

BENGALURU: The Google Chrome OS powered Chromebook, with huge cloud storage, is a fantastic Black Friday deal, at $199.
Taking into consideration the price of Windows and Apple laptops, the Chromebook is a cost effective device; even without the Black Friday offer. The Apple’s MacBook Air and Windows Laptop cost over a thousand dollars and $500, respectively, on this Black Friday, but the Chromebook offered by Asus is set at $199 via Groupon. The deal-of-the-day website has offered a 20% discount on Chromebook, which is originally priced at $250.
Asus Chromebook C300 runs on an Intel Celeron processor coupled with a 2 GB RAM and a 16 GB SSD storage, excluding 1 TB cloud storage offered by Google in Google Drive free of the usual charges. The announcement from Google regarding this came early in the week, ahead of Black Friday. Google has enabled free storage for two years on all Chromebooks purchased starting this week till the end of the year.
Another major advantage of the Chromebook is its ability to work offline in condition that doesn’t allow the user to connect to the internet.
The Chromebook is designed primarily for students who cannot spend too much money on their gadget; this is a blessing in disguise for parents who worry about their kids stuffing the hard disk with unnecessary things.
