Two Disney workers record their humiliating experience.

Two former Disney employees who were laid off in favor of workers on H-1B and L-1 visas from India have joined other colleagues in deriding the manner in which Disney released them.
David Powers and Leo Perrero both railed Disney in an interview with Orlando’s WWSB. Echoing the fate chronicled by other former Disney employees who have come forward, both men were abruptly informed of their termination and strong-armed into training their replacements.
Were they to refuse, their right to a severance package would have been nullified.
“I’m in the room with about two-dozen people, and very shortly thereafter an executive delivers the news that all of our jobs are ending in 90 days, and that we have 90 days to train our replacements then we won’t get a bonus that we’ve been offered,” said Leo Perrero, who developed apps for the House of Mouse.
“H1B, when done properly, is a great avenue,” said Sarasota-based employment Attorney Sara Blackwell, who represents both men. “The purpose of H1B is to bring in foreign workers, when there’s no qualified U.S. worker.”
However, the two men told WWSB that training their Indian replacements — at their own desks, nonetheless — stripped them of their dignity.
“When a guillotine falls down on you, in that moment you’re dead… and I was dead,” Powers remarked.
“I felt extremely un-American,” Perrero added. “I felt like I was part of destroying our economy because I had to train a replacement that was going to come here, take my job and potentially take other people’s jobs.”

CAN YOU IMAGINE LOSING YOUR JOB TO A FOREIGN WORKER AND THEN TRAINING THAT FOREIGN GUEST WORKER AS YOUR REPLACEMENT?
I ask anybody reading this, how would you like it?

When will India create jobs in India for the people of India?
India is creating jobs , it is some people in India who feels US offer better opportunities than India- a fact , tend to migrate. For those who want to work and earn , India is right place.
It is very natural for US Citizens to feel this way about those who take away their jobs.
In perhaps 200 Years to come ,I do see all countries and societies getting developed and UNIFIED WORLD may emerge where there would be no nation, one currency and only Merit will matter
