Bollywood actress and Quantico star Priyanka Chopra set another milestone by becoming the third most followed woman in Asia with 12 million followers on Twitter, on Friday.
The 33-year-old former Miss World now becomes the most followed Asian women in Twitter after Indonesian singer-actress Agnez Mo (14.5 million) and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone (12.5 million).
Chopra’s new movie ‘Bajirao Mastani’, in which she co-stars with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone also released on the same day.
“Thank you all so much #12MillionPCManiacs this is such a wonderful good luck present!! You all are my strength,” Chopra tweeted.
She also crossed four million followers in online mobile photo-sharing service Instagram few weeks back.
Her grand entry in the ABC’s super hit television show ‘Quantico’ has contributed a lot to a sudden surge in her social media followers.
The actress, who made her Bollywood debut in 2003, with the movie ‘The Hero: Love Story of a Spy’, is an avid user of social media through which she stays connected with her fans and well-wishers.
In the Quantico series, Chopra plays Alex Parrish, one of a diverse group of new FBI recruits, each with a mysterious past.
