9th edition of festival from Feb. 26-28.

The ninth edition of the World Sacred Spirit Festival (WSSF) which vouches to be a confluence of global musical exponents, showcasing traditions from the Orient, the East and Africa, will begin in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on February 26.
The festival, which will culminate in Jodhpur on February 28, will be presented by the Mehrangarh Museum Trust.
From eminent sarod artists Amjad Ali Khan with Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan to Spanish flamenco artist Andrés Marín, the performances will have the majestic Mehrangarh Fort as backdrop, read a statement.
Names like Daud Khan Sadozai, Devadasi and Apsaras, Driss El Maloumi, Oud, Epi, Maati Baani, Madan Gopal Singhji, Sardar Gurdayal Singh, Sheikh Yasîn al-Tuhâmi, Stelios Petrakis Quartet, Tamango, Teratali and Yulduz Turdieva, will showcase their art to enliven the festival.
Sheikh Yasin al-Tuhami, a renowned sufi singer from Upper Egypt will specially come to sing ‘Sufi inshad’ in India at the fest.
