Sunny Leone has been in the news for wrong reasons ever since she decided to shed her “porn star” status and turn into a Bollywood hot babe. This time, Sunny has unknowingly become a victim after her topless image popped up on a government website.
According to reports, the topless image of the Jism-2 actress appeared on the homepage of the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s official website, which is managed by the Centre for Good Governance (CGG).
According to Mumbai Mirror, the repeated attempts of the technical team to remove the photo from the website went vain on April 25th. In the meanwhile, on the same day, the traffic to the GHMC website rocketed 16%.
Later, the team somehow managed to take down the photo from the homepage but the same image started appearing on links inside the website.
A GHMC official was quoted by the Mumbai Mirror saying that the site is maintained by the Centre for Good Governance (CGG) and hence they are responsible for what happened.
Vijay Karan Reddy, Director, E-Governance, CGG told the Times of India: “We cannot be held responsible. As far as we know, the agreement between the operating company and the corporation was terminated.”
Surendra Mohan, additional commissioner (IT), GHMC told: “An internal probe was on to nail the culprits, hoping this would never happen again.”
Sunny has been in the eye of the storm ever since she landed in India. First, she was dragged to court by a women who filed a complaint against the actress over her nude videos on the internet. Recently, the Ek Paheli Leela actress was once again in the news for slapping a journalist during ‘Play Holi with Sunny Leone’ event in Surat. The actress later denied being involved in any such incident.
In another instance, the CPI (M) leader Atul Anjan dragged her into trouble after he said her vulgar advertisements are one of the reasons behind the increase in incidents of rape in India.
The 34-year old actress will be next seen in Jasmine D’Souza’s movie ‘One Night Stand’ which is set to release on May 6.
