Har Parkash Rishi, a 74-year-old Indian man who claims to have 20 Guinness world record, is known for the crazy things he has done for setting the records.
According to a Reuters report, Rishi got all his teeth removed for putting 500 drinking straws and 50 burning candles in his mouth.
Rishi has got 500 tattoos printed all over his body and it includes 366 flags. Among the flags, 49 are on his face and head. He also has a world map tattooed on his abdomen.
Some of the records he set are crazy. He traveled 10,286 miles from Delhi to California to deliver a pizza. In 2001, Rishi adopted his brother-in-law Ravinder Kumar Vig who became the oldest adopted person at 61 years old. Another record was gulping a bottle of ketchup in less than 40 seconds.
“I am the world record holder of 496 straws in my mouth … For that record, I needed space, I had to remove every tooth so that I could put maximum straws in my mouth,” Rishi told Reuters Television.
Born on July 7, 1942, in New Delhi, Rishi entered Guinness Book of World Records in 1990 for the first time for riding a scooter for 1001 hours. He broke the previous records along with his friend.
His wife Bimla also holds a record for writing the shortest will. In 1991, she drafted her will by writing “All to Son.”
The auto parts manufacturer calls himself Guinness Rishi. His new mission is to get the images of world leaders tattooed on his body including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, U.S. President Barack Obama, Britain’s Queen Elizabeth and Mahatma Gandhi.
