Rapper is working on an album.
Rapper Eminem has joined celebrities like Robert De Niro, Downey Jr, and Scarlett Johansson to express his disapproval of Donald Trump becoming the US president. While announcing the work of his next album, the rapper released a ‘campaign speech’ that questions Trump and his supporters.
The singer released the new track just before the third presidential debate on Facebook on Wednesday. “Don’t worry I’m working on an album! Here’s something meanwhile. Listen to “Campaign Speech” now,” he wrote on Facebook.
The eight-minute-long video covers a wide range of topics from football player Colin Kaepernick to novelist Agatha Christie.
“Run the faucet, I’ma dunk / A bunch of Trump supporters underwater / Snuck up on ’em in Ray Bans in a grey van with a spray tan / It’s a wrap, like an Ace bandage,” said the rapper in the record.
Calling Trump a “loose cannon,” Eminem questioned the supporters of Trump whose racist propagation has been ridiculed by many.
“Consider me a dangerous man / But you should be afraid of this dang candidate / You say Trump don’t kiss ass like a puppet? / ‘Cause he runs his campaign with his own cash for the funding? / And that’s what you wanted? / A fuckin’ loose cannon who’s blunt with his hand on the button / Who doesn’t have to answer to no one? / Great idea!” added Eminem.
