‘NUCLEAR’ is a CMA Global production.
Indian Film maker Ram Gopal Varma on Monday announced that he is all set for his first international project titled “NUCLEAR” and the film deals with the subject of terrorism.
“My 1st international film to be made at a cost of 340 cr is NUCLEAR…#RGVNUCLEAR,” RGV tweeted along with the poster of the movie.
“Terrorism is on the top of everyone’s minds in the world today be it America, Europe, Middle East or Asia. We wake up every morning to hear dreadful news of a terror attack happening somewhere or the other. Incidents like planes bringing down towers, a truck plowing through people on the roads, slaughtering hundreds of innocent people in Paris, Mumbai etc are terrifying enough, but the real and truly unthinkable terror is, what if someone gets their hands on a nuclear bomb?” Varma said in a note on the films website.
NUCLEAR, is a venture of CMA Global and it will explore the consequences the world will face if nuclear bomb gets into the wrong hands.
The film will be shot in the USA, China, Russia and India will have a cast of American, Chinese, Russian, British, Yemenis and Indian actors.
“Yes it’s going to be much more costlier than the most expensive film ever made in India and the reason for that is because the subject matter truly demands that it is filmed on a scale never before seen,” Varma said.
