After a lot of hoo-ha, Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber has finally arrived in Mumbai and his fans are all set for the singer’s maiden concert in the country on Wednesday evening.
The 23-year-old singer landed in Mumbai Airport on Wednesday morning, along with his crew wearing black shorts and a pink hoodie. A video circulating on internet shows the pop singer navigating the VIP lounge of the terminal with a bouquet of flowers in hand.
Interestingly, Salman Khan’s body guard Shera was seen leading the security team, ushering Bieber through the airport and outside to be driven in a Rolls Royce, as demanded by the singer before the concert.
Bieber who is staying at South Mumbai’s St. Regis will perform later in the evening at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
Fans from across the country are rushing to Mumbai for the event and the organizers expect an audience of almost 45,000. Bieber is expected to come to the venue in a chopper. The gates are open from 11 a.m. and Bieber will only perform at 8 p.m., preceded by several international DJs from 4 p.m. onwards.
Indian DJs Zaeden and Sartek will open the concert and Bollywood actors including Arjun Rampal, Tiger Shroff, Malaika Arora and Indo-Canadian actress Sunny Leone will also be present in the stadium.
Bieber’s concert is part of his Purpose World Tour and the singer came to India after a spectacular performance in Dubai, yesterday. Bieber is expected to perform his hits like Where are you now, Boyfriend, Love yourself, Company, As long as you love me, What do you mean, Baby and Purpose.
He will take a Mumbai tour on Thursday and will visit Taj Mahal in Agra and Jaipur on Friday.
