Social media goes berserk over Priyanka Chopra’s ‘insensitivity’ to the World War II victims.
The Quantico queen who was seen ‘Baywatch-ing’ Berlin a few days back, inadvertently offended her fans by posting selfies from the Holocaust Memorial. However, as soon as she realized the mistake, she removed those pictures from social media.
The Holocaust Memorial, also known as the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, is a memorial in Berlin to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust during the World War II.
Chopra who appeared to be holidaying in Berlin, Germany, posted some selfies with brother Siddharth from the memorial grounds on Instagram as well as on Twitter. This incident started an outrage of the followers questioning her sensitivity. An absolute flood of tweets criticized the 34-year-old thespian for her perceived insensitivity.

Not only Chopra, any person who tends to pose for photographs at the site, is opposed and criticized for showing disrespect to 6 million Jews who were put to death under Hitler’s regime.
These are the pictures that Chopra posted:

This isn’t the first time Chopra, a rising international star, has been accused of insensitivity. Last year, she posed for the cover of Conde Nast Traveller’s India edition in a t-shirt that had the words refugee, immigrant and outsider struck out in favor of traveler – a deafening clamour pointed out to Chopra, who later apologized, that being a refugee was not a choice and that her t-shirt was a distasteful display of privilege.

Chopra is now in London, promoting Baywatch with her cast mates Dwayne Johnson, Zach Efron, Alexandra Daddario and others. Her film is scheduled to release in India on June 2, 2017.
