BANGALORE: Hollywood hunk Ashton Kutcher jetted all the way to Italy to attend the highly anticipated wedding of Indian businesswoman and good friend Ayesha Thapar, who tied the knot with Google executive Nikesh Arora.

Kutcher (36) attended the lavish wedding festivities with former co-star and current girlfriend Mila Kunis, who is pregnant with the couple’s first child, due in October. Kunis was reportedly looking fantastic in a white dress, while Kutcher donned a kurta and even a turban at one point.
Arora and Thapar officially got married on July 4, in a ceremony that took place in Borgo Egnazia, one of Italy’s most scenic resort destinations. Festivities lasted several days, beginning on June 30, and featured a gathering of a veritable “who’s who” of Silicon Valley tech gurus, CEOs, and even political figures. The wedding was dubbed by several media outlets as one of the biggest of the year, and certainly within tech circles.
The newly married couple will reportedly be splitting their time between San Francisco and New Delhi, and will continue to do so after their wedding. Arora, in particular, will use his time in India to help expand Google’s already-growing presence into India and South Asia as a whole, while Thapar will do the same thing for her interest state-side. It also makes sense that the couple is getting married in Italy, which lies pretty much halfway between the US and India.
Thapar belongs to the Thapar dynasty of India, which runs the Thapar Group, one of the biggest conglomerates in India. Arora, meanwhile, has been a major part of some of Google’s biggest technology roll-outs. Most recently, he has been keenly involved with the development and release strategy for Google Glass, the controversial eyewear computer that has a camera and all sorts of other nifty gadgets.
Meanwhile, despite attending other peoples’ weddings, Kutcher and Kunis remain tight-lipped regarding their own wedding plans. The two recently purchased a new home in Beverly Hills for both of them to move into together for a cool $10 million, and have been spotted jet-setting around the world to spend time with each other.
