After the national award winning actress Shweta Basu Prasad was caught working as a prostitute at a hotel in Hyderabad, now comes news that another Telugu actress, Divya Sri, who acted in the Telugu film ‘B Tech Babu’ has been caught by police for being involved in a prostitution racket in a house in Guntur, on September 5, reported The Times of India. The police apparently raided the house after a tipoff, where the actress was caught red-handed.
Police sources have further confirmed that other actresses and models were also caught with Divya, and actor Pawan Kumar, Chandu along with others are active in the racket. Reports are rife that several bigwigs, business honchos are behind this sex scandal.
India Today reported that Kumar was arrested for running a prostitution ring.
Bollywood mantra reported that according to a source, the Guntur police busted the prostitution racket after getting a tip from an unknown source. Police officials from the Anti- Human Trafficking Unit raided a rented house at Swarna Bharathi Nagar, JKC College Road in Guntur and they caught some models and actresses, including Divya.
Shweta, who is currently lodged in a rehabilitation home for women after her arrest, had claimed that many more heroines are into prostitution and it is very common for them. The arrest of Divya seems to confirm that allegation.

The Times report also says that it’s now being checked whether Sri’s arrest has anything to do with Shweta’s prostitution racket.
India Today pointed out that last month Kannada filmmakers Omprakash Rao and Guru Deshpande, and producers Diwakar Babu and Rajashekar were purportedly caught on camera trying to earn sexual favors from young girls with the promise of roles in films.
“There are fears among some of the actresses of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam movies regarding what Shweta could reveal. The information could damage their reputation,” S.M. Swamy, a leading Chennai based casting director, was quoted as saying by Today.

Why are Indians so obsessed with sex? If someone wants to have some fun why should the state interfere? These women were not trafficked, they did it of their own free will.
They are doing it because Indian men want this.
