The event on December 4th and 5th in Scottsdale, AZ, will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and the Indian Army.

NEW YORK: The gorgeous fairways of the 27-hole championship golf course at The Phoenician, one of the top luxury golf resorts in the world, located in Scottsdale, Arizona, will be the venue over two days in December for the inaugural Winning Ways™ Executive Golf Invitational. The event is being hosted by Rhiti Sports, India’s leading sports marketing & management company (part of Rhiti Group), in partnership with Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India’s most successful cricket captain and the 5th most valuable sports athlete brand in the world, as endorsed by Forbes recently.
The exclusive ‘by-invitation-only’ golf event will be held on December 04th and 05th and witness the presence of and participation by leading American and Indian corporate executives, sports personalities and celebrities. MS Dhoni, an avid golfer himself will be present on both the days of the meet, and will play in the invitational.
IntraEdge Inc, an IT services company based in Arizona, founded by Indian American entrepreneur Kal Somani, has partnered with Rhiti Sports to help promote and support the execution of the event.
The inaugural day of the meet, December 04th, will kick off in the evening with an exclusive round-table interaction involving Dhoni and a group of handpicked CXOs from leading American and Indian corporations. Following this would be a welcome cocktail reception and a silent auction.
December 5th will see foursomes take part in an 18-hole, four-ball scramble competition. There would be several entertaining activities on the range, including a hole-in-one competition; closest to the pin and longest drive challenges. The day will end with a presentation ceremony and gourmet dinner.
“This event is also raising funds for charity in support of the brave and injured service men and women in the Indian and the US Army. Proceeds will be shared between the Wounded Warriors Project and MS Dhoni Charitable Foundation (Winning Ways),” said Arun Pandey, Chairman & Managing Director, Rhiti Group, in a statement.
Dhoni, whose passion for the armed forces has earned him the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Army is excited about the event. In a statement he said, “Besides a great weekend of golf and camaraderie, it is the cause that we’re supporting which is even greater. I have enormous respect for service men and women across the world and I do hope that this event will help raise and donate substantial funds as an expression of our gratitude towards the two nation army.”
According to Rhiti Sports, this golf event will become an annual property and Winning Ways will travel across the world in the coming years as the flag bearer of such charitable sporting events.
