Police arrest the driver and cleaner of the bus.

In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old girl, reportedly a nurse, was allegedly raped in a moving bus near Lakondanahalli cross, Bengaluru.
Sulibele police have arrested the driver of the bus, Ravi (26), from Shimoga and cleaner Manjunath (23).
The bus, which is registered in Andhra Pradesh, has also been taken into custody by the police.
According to the police, Ravi asked cleaner Manjunath to drive the bus and he allegedly raped the girl in the moving bus. Later, the girl was dropped in an isolated place and she sought shelter at the nearest government hospital.
The girl revealed the incident to doctors and they informed the police. The girl filed a complaint and a case has been registered under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
A similar incident happened on October 5, when a 22-year-old BPO employee was allegedly gang raped and dumped near Madiwala police station in Bengaluru.
Karnataka Home Minister K J George had made a controversial statement on the incident that two men raping a woman cannot be termed as gang rape, which drew severe criticism.
