SRK-Kajol magic sparks the box office.

Dilwale, the most awaited movie of the year with the lead pair of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol is creating magic at the box office. The movie has crossed Rs.100 crore collections worldwide in three days of its release.
Dilwale has earned Rs. 21 crore on the first day, Rs. 20.09 crore on the second day and Rs. 24 cr on the third day. The movie has collected Rs. 65.09 crore in its first weekend in India alone.
According to IBN Live, the Rohit Shetty-directed movie has collected Rs.121 crore in its opening weekend worldwide. The movie has earned $8.5 million (approximately Rs. 56 crore) from the overseas market.
On the other hand, the Ranveer Singh – Deepika Padukone – Priyanka Chopra trio starrer ‘Bajirao Mastani’s first day collections were Rs. 12.80 crore. The movie collected Rs. 15.52 crore on the second day and earned Rs. 18.45 cr on the third day. Total collections of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film are Rs. 46.77 cr.
“Dilwale Overseas: Gulf – biggest ever opening for a Bollywood film, and the number one film this weekend, higher than ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ and other films,” trade analyst Komal Nahta tweeted.
“Britain – highest opening for a Bollywood film in 2015. Australia – biggest opening of 2015, biggest ever for SRK. Malaysia – biggest opening for a Bollywood film. New Zealand – number two on box office charts. US – number nine in top 10 chart,” he added.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the collection of “Bajirao Mastani” witnessed a good hike over the weekend and the film is going strong in theatres with positive word of mouth.
“#BajiraoMastani is unstoppable. Super word of mouth translates into super biz. Friday Rs.12.80 crore, Saturday Rs.15.52 crore, Sunday Rs.18.45 crore. Total: Rs.46.77 crore,” he tweeted.
