Duke University student should be able to pay her tuition bills now.

WASHINGTON, DC: Infamous porn star and Duke University student Miriam Weeks has found yet another avenue through which to make money: hosting her very own reality show.
Weeks, whose mother is of Indian origin, will host “The Sex Factor,” a program that will feature 16 contestants, half of whom are male and half who are female, competing to become the next big porn star. Weeks, whose porn name is Belle Knox, will be one of the judges of the show.
The other judges will be porn industry heavyweights Lexi Belle, Tori Black, Remy LaCroix, and Keiran Lee. Together, the four women and one man will judge all 16 contestants, eventually whittling the field down to one male and one female winner.
These winners will then have the opportunity to perform in a pornographic video with none other than Weeks herself.
The show itself will, quite understandably, not be featured on a television station, and will be streamed online for people to watch. The Internet-based series is currently casting for young actors and actresses, who can reach out to the show by following @thesxfactor on Twitter and tweeting the hashtag #IWantToSeeYouInPorn.
Weeks, a self-described “Rising porn starlet” on her Twitter page, became a national sensation, for better or worse, when it was revealed earlier this year that she turned to pornography to help pay her exorbitant tuition fees at Duke University. The third child of an Indian housewife and Jewish military doctor, Weeks’ revelation was greeted with disgust by many, and support from others.
In the aftermath, she has become a champion of the feminist movement, going on shows such as Anderson Cooper 360 and The Piers Morgan Show to talk about how doing porn makes her feel empowered and strong as a woman, and that it is her right to choose with who and how often she has sex.
On Sunday, she took to Twitter with another feminist blurb of wisdom, tweeting a meme of singers Christiana Aguilera and Nicki Minaj discussing the difference between assertiveness for a man and a woman.
“If I’m a b****, then I’m a b****. If that’s what an assertive woman is to you,” says the caption. “When I am assertive, I’m a b****. When a man is assertive, he’s a boss.”
“Story of my life,” Weeks then tweeted, a none-too-subtle jab at the apparent double-standards levied by people against promiscuous women versus promiscuous men.
Now that she’s on summer break, Weeks is likely working to save up for her sophomore year of college, which begins in August. Earlier this year, she said that she would spend the summer shooting more pornographic films, as she would have much more free time without the encumbrances of school, classes, and so on.
Now, with “The Sex Factor” gearing up for its debut, Weeks will likely have more than enough money to see her through her undergraduate education. If work keeps coming in, she may have enough for a master’s and Ph.D., too.
