The bad boy of Indian cricket is a flop dancer, too.

WASHINGTON, DC: Controversy courting cricketer S. Sreesanth has found himself in the eye of the storm yet again, after reportedly storming out on the set of the hit TV show “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa†after the celebrity judges criticized his dancing.
Sreesanth performed a routine on the Hindi version of “Dancing with the Stars,†and apparently believed that he and his partner did a tremendous job. But when it came time for the celebrity judges to put in their two cents, Remo D’Souza and Madhuri Dixit-Nene were not so kind, pointing out numerous flaws in Sreesanth’s work.
That’s when Sreesanth began arguing, telling the judges that his performance was perfectly fine and that they were being overly harsh on him for no reason. Tension escalated, at which point the third celebrity judge, director/producer Karan Johar, tried to mediate the situation by abstaining from commenting, but by then it appears that the damage was already done.
Sreesanth then stormed off the set and left, effectively leaving the show. Sreesanth’s anger likely came from the fact that he would have to dance yet again in an elimination round, so he was probably very close to leaving the show anyway, but the manner in which the former bowler left that has heads spinning.
A spokesperson for Colors TV, which airs “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa†confirmed that the tiff did occur, although did not elaborate on if Sreesanth would return and how the show would move forward. If Sreesanth truly is off of the show for good now, he becomes the fifth contestant eliminated, along with Purab Kohli, VJ Andy, Kritika Kamra, and Sukhwinder Singh.
Sreesanth, who is currently banned from Indian cricket for life after his involvement with match-fixing came to light, will make his Bollywood debut within the next year or so in a remake of a south Indian film.
