Live International reality show to host bevy of celebrities.

NEW DELHI: Shah Rukh Khan, who was rumored to host the next season of Big Boss, is going to do something bigger: he will be hosting a live international reality show, with super reality TV creator Simon Cowell to be part of it.
The show is said to garner participants from ‘India’s Got Talent’ and ‘Got Talent’. The participants will perform on a huge global platform with live audience. The show will be called ‘Got Talent Worldstage’. It would be broadcast on Colors channel in December.
The show will also have many Bollywood celebrities performing. Jacqueline Fernandes, Priyanka Chopra, Varun Dhawan are among them. India’s Got Talent’s judges – Mallaika Arora Khan, Karan Johar and Kirron Kher and the creator of Got Talent, Simon Cowell, will also be part of the show. Cowell was behind the idea of X Factor too.
The live event will take place in Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai in December.
Reports say that apart from the show, Colors channel will also broadcast Shah Rukh Khan’s Slam Tour in North America, which is a promotional activity for his coming film Happy New Year. The channel is likely to get satellite rights for the film.
Shah Rukh made his TV debut with serial Fauji and worked in Circus which further helped him get his first role in Deewana, at the age of 22. After years of toiling in the film industry, he returned to television with ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ where he showed that he could host that well too. He went on to host other shows like Kya Aap Panchvi Pass Se Tez Hai and Zor Ka Jhatka.
